It has a TMH Flex-pack battery pack. It was made by Tyco/Mattell. It suddenly stopped working and it hasn’t worked for years and I’ve been unable to find it online or find any company that will repair it. There was a place in California called California Electric that allegedly repaired this toy and when I shipped it to them it was returned to me - apparently they went out of business. Thanks for any suggestions!

Take it to a small appliance repair shop and they might be able to repair it.

Sorry I posted this last night when not many people are online, I got a few great answers but just wondering what the rest of you think!!

I’ll try to keep this short but sweet - quick rundown.

My son turned 1 last week but my partner had to go back to start work so unfortuantely wasn’t there for the big day. We didn’t have any money at the time so just bought him a couple of little things and decided we would get him a ‘big’ thing like an electric car or a bike once we joined him and so I wouldn’t have to pay a million dollars in excess baggage. So we are back here now, we arrived 5 days after my son’s birthday, and my partner still hadn’t bought him anything, and neither had my SIL who is also Jake’s godmother. She also didn’t get him anything for Xmas while I spent over $100 on her two kiddies. (They are not short of cash, her husband is a miner who earns over $100K a year)

Today was her daughter’s 2nd birthday, exactly one week after Jake’s. Today I picked her up from work and we had to go shopping. She bought $300 worth of presents for her daughter, as well as a $30 toy for her 5 year old, just so he wouldn’t be jealous. She still didn’t buy anything for Jake… Is this ridiculous to expect something like that? I mean it is her only nephew, her only godson, and her and I are best friends. I just don’t see why she doesn’t think he should also get a present for his birthday which she wasn’t able to spend with him?

To top it off, on his way home from work, my partner spent $40 on a dolly for our neice, and $7 on a pair of goggles for swimming for our son - his argument is that if he spent $1000 on a toy for Jake he would still just throw it on the ground and forget it in 2seconds. Fair enough, but am I wrong for thinking it’s nice and shows how much you care and love someone to spoil them on their birthday? Especially a first one, which is pretty special I think!! I feel really sorry for my son and can’t stop crying. I am 15 weeks pregnant so I know hormones is making it a little worse, but then again I think I would still be upset, pregnant hormones or not. (Yup, I wrote this last night, and I am STILL crying about it this morning!!)

You have all the right to be mad. That is unfair for your son. I would also be mad. And i would of told my partner so many things if he would of bought his niece that doll. I wouldn’t of let him.

I will propose a theory and tell me if you believe me. The supply of oil is becoming LESS of that I am sure nobody will disagree. The only real question lies in this. Is it artificial messing with the supply or are we just running out? You may pick your poison. One thing is also certain just thinking your being a smartee and riding your bicycle around won’t end the problems at all!!!! It takes hundreds of gallons a gas a year to keep you EATING since they have to ship the food heat it cool it package it in plastic-oil. No matter what you do you will USE HUNDREDS of gallons a year of oil!!! Even if we switched to electric cars the average car takes HUNDREDS of gallons of oil to make with all the light weight plasitc. Now you tell me where this leaves us? Either the ELITE BANKERS who own everything are making this happen through speculations
and decreased production OR WE ARE RUNNING OUT and have reached PEAK OIL!!! My guess is it’s the ELITE making prices go up. After people are
starving for a little while like in Africa and there is genocide and people dieing the ELITES can get what they always wanted ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!!

So you spend $1000 on him this year, what are you going to do next year? And then you have to make sure you keep that up for baby number 2 as well! Are you trying to show your child love, or do you think the parents that buy the most stuff win? Don’t worry what your SIL buys her children! She does not have to buy your child a gift, but it would be nice. And you don’t have to spend a ton of money on her children!! For my children’s birthdays, including the first, they either get a toy I think they will really like, usually under $40, or they get something they need. Great time for a new bike!! Spending a ton on a child does not make they feel loved. It may make them feel bought, or it may make them feel entitled! Neither are good things!!

I have a toy rat terrier and she thinks she is alapha dog. whenever she is outside whether she slipped out the door or we are outside with her and there are either neighbors getting out of their cars to go inside or a person just walking by the house she always has to charge at the person,with her hair sticking up on her back, barking as loud as she possibly can. I really do not want to use an electric fence or an electric collar. I have tried several methods and none really seem to work. Is there any possible way to train her not to do this?

Some people have told me that all rat terriers are like that. i have a jack/rat terrier dog and he barks at EVERYONE he dosent knoooww! its so anoyying, we cant even have people over. what i have done and has kinda helped is putting him in a room alone when someone comes over and if were outside we jus try to get him around people more often, so they get used to me being around new people =]]

I have a pond behind my house, so i was looking at a boat, i also was looking at the airplane bcuz i have a huge field near my house, i also was looking at the car, bcuz ther is a track near my house, yea im right in the middle. I wud like to get the nitro bcuz ive been driving rc cars (electric, like the ones from toys r us) for years. I only have about $200 to spend, so im looking for a small investment to see if i like it.

Price is a big consideration. I recommend saving a few hundred dollars more.

With the boat, it is a peaceful choice. It won’t go fast (cheaper ones in general) and could stop and you have to swim in to get it. If the pond is murky, it may get stuck. Or if the power dies.

A plane is for exhilaration. You can do a lot if you can control it. It could stall, crash, or go out of range (then crash), or die because the power supply has to be small. You need a very well built plane for it to last. The price may be steep. My dad had one, it crashed on the first flight and never flew again. If it even exists, see if there is such thing as a fail safe parachute if it goes it of range or almost crashes.

A car is for speed. It would probably be a cheaper selection and won’t crash horrifically, and is easy to retrieve.
